Yes, our daily lenses are FDA-approved and expert endorsed. We’ve partnered with an internationally recognised and certified supplier, to keep your eyes happy and healthy.
Can I change the renewal date on my subscription?
Yes, you can easily amend your delivery dates in your Club Waldo account. Planning to be out of the country for a few weeks, or just need more time to decide? No problem, simply delay your next delivery date in your Club Waldo account by changing your renewal date or frequency inside the My plan pane.
Can I change the type of lenses on my subscription?
At the moment we only offer our Waldo Original lenses, but we’re working on expanding our product range so keep your eyes peeled!
Can I get a subscription for just one eye?
Of course! When entering your contact lens prescription, you’ll see a separate drop-down menu for your right and left eye. Simply select your prescription for one eye and then select "Not Required" for the other. Select Next and your order for one contact lens power will be ready to purchase. Please bear in mind that after your trial period, your subscription will renew with the frequency and quantity depending on your chosen plan. You can change your plan and delivery schedule at any time in your Club Waldo account.
Can I pause my subscription?
Sure! To pause your subscription, just give us a call on 1-888-297-1269 (toll-free) from 9am to 5pm EST Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm EST on Saturdays, and ask to pause your account. You'll then be able to decide when you want to resume and your account will be put on hold for that time.
Does my subscription automatically renew?
Your subscription will automatically renew 12 days after the date that you placed your trial order. After your trial period, depending on which plan you chose at checkout, you'll be sent enough lenses to last you for one order cycle. You can modify your renewal date, change your frequency or plan in your Club Waldo account if you'd prefer a different delivery schedule.
How do I cancel my subscription?
To cancel your subscription, please call us on 1-888-297-1269 (toll-free) from 9am to 5pm EST Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm EST on Saturdays. We are closed on Sundays and major federal holidays. Why not consider changing your plan or delivery frequency? You can tailor this anytime in your Club Waldo account. If you signed up as a California resident, you’re able to cancel your subscription online by logging into your Club Waldo account and selecting 'I'd like to stop my subscription' found at the bottom of the My Plan section.
How do I get started?

How do I insert my lenses hygienically?
Before opening your blister pack, ensure your hands are completely clean. In order to keep application as hygienic as possible, aim to touch your lens as little as possible once it's removed from its pack. Once removed, for ease of handling, gently shake off the excess liquid from the lenses so they are not too wet. From there, place the lens on your eye, hold your finger there for a few seconds, then take your finger away and rotate your eye. Rotating your eye will help to disperse any air bubbles and help your lens settle. If you're holding your eyelids open, let go at this point and your lenses should stay in place. If you find this tricky, here's a video tutorial from a member of our Waldo team that might make things easier! How do I reactivate my account?
To reactivate your inactive account, sign in on the website and click the red Reactivate button under Quick Actions. After confirming your reactivation, your next order date will be set to tomorrow. Feel free to update this to whatever date works best for you.
How do I refer my friend?
You and your friend can each receive $8 off your next Waldo order through our referral program. Simply login to your Club Waldo account, click on the "Refer A Friend | Save $8" button and follow the steps to complete your referral. Alternatively, you can click the "Refer" button in the header when you are signed in.
How do I update my personal details?
To change your personal details, including your name, email, date of birth and phone number, just login to your Club Waldo account and go to the My Details section.
How do the Monthly, Quarterly and Bi-annual plans work?
You can switch from Monthly, Quarterly or Bi-annual plans anytime in your frequency selector online. On our Monthly plan, you'll receive 2 boxes at a frequency to suit you. On our Quarterly plan, you'll receive 6 boxes every 3 months and our Bi-annual plan, you'll receive 12 boxes every 6 months.
What is Club Waldo?
Club Waldo is our members club for all active Waldo subscribers. They enjoy a number of exclusive benefits, such as a fully flexible subscription via our My Account page, free delivery on all renewals and priority access to our extensive expertise, to name a few. What is your return policy?
If you find something has gone wrong or if you’ve just had a change of heart and no longer want the lenses you’ve received, please feel free to contact us directly within 30 days of receiving your order. Be mindful that due to the nature of contacts, we cannot provide refunds for any boxes that have been opened or otherwise tampered with. If, however, your box is still sealed, please do get in touch with our customer service team and we can look further into granting you a refund. In the unlikely event that you’ve received defective lenses, please contact us immediately and we’ll send you replacement lenses. What should I do once my prescription expires?
First, the facts. Your prescription should be valid for at least 1 year, and 2 years in many states. You may see that your prescription is valid for a shorter period of time, but that should only be the case if there are documented medical reasons for issuing a shorter period. You have every right to ask your doctor to explain to you what those reasons are. As to our role, we'll reach out to your doctor to verify your prescription when you first join Waldo. We then recommended that you visit your doctor at least one month before your prescription expires and update your Waldo account with any amendments.
Can I purchase contact lenses with my glasses prescription?
No! Your lens prescription is different from your glasses prescription, since contact lenses sit on your eye. As a result, when you order our lenses you must have an up-to-date contact lens prescription which specifies the power and parameters of the lenses you should be wearing.
Can I purchase lenses if I don’t have a physical copy of my prescription?
Yes, this only means that there will be an extra step in the process (on our side, not yours). When you check out, in addition to indicating the power of your prescription, you will also need to select your prescribing doctor from our database. You’ll need to know your eye doctor’s name, city and state in order to do this. Once we have this information, we’ll contact your doctor to verify the details of your prescription.
Can Waldo give me a prescription?
We can’t give you a prescription at Waldo, but the good news is that we can connect you with some great eye care professionals in your area. These professionals can issue you an up-to-date prescription for Waldo lenses. We also have our in-house optician, Anita, here to answer any questions you might have about your lenses. Remember that before ordering, you will need to visit your local optician to obtain an up-to-date lens prescription.
Do I need a prescription to place an order?
Yes, you must have a valid prescription to order Waldo contacts (make sure your prescription is for contact lenses, not glasses). Please be aware that as a matter of federal law, we must verify your prescription with your doctor before shipping your trial contacts. Therefore, we need to wait until your doctor's weekday business hours in order to do so.
How old must I be to order and wear Waldo contact lenses?
You must be aged 18 and over to order through Waldo. If you are under 18, you need to see your doctor to be able to order lenses.
I’m in need of a new prescription. Can you help me find a doctor?
Here at Waldo, we care about the health of your eyes and encourage you to continue with your regular check-ups with your doctor. We are currently working with eye care professionals and hope to soon be with a doctor near you.
My prescription is from a doctor outside the States. Can I still order Waldo lenses?
We don’t like to exclude anyone, but at the moment we can only accept valid prescriptions from doctors located within the United States. If you need assistance finding a doctor, let us know on email@example.com and we’ll do our best to find one near you."
What should I do if my prescription changes?
If your prescription changes (or if you made a mistake when entering it during the ordering process - hey it happens!), please contact us. We'll change it on your Club Waldo account and re-verify the amended prescription with your doctor.
Are Waldo lenses hygienic?
Yes! At Waldo, we only sell daily contact lenses because they are categorically the most hygienic lens choice in comparison to longer-wear lenses. By using daily lenses over monthlies of bi-weeklies, you significantly reduce your risk of infection or contamination since they eliminate the need to store your lenses overnight or reuse them.
Can I clean my lenses with water or contact lens solution to store them?
We supply daily lenses, which are designed for one-day use. Waldo lenses should not be worn more than once and you must dispose of your lenses after each wear.
Can I use eye-drops with my lenses?
You are able to use eye drops while wearing your Waldo lenses, just make sure that the eye drops you’re using are compatible with contact lenses. If you have been prescribed any medicated eye drops, please check with your prescriber before using them while wearing your lenses.
Do you sell bi-weekly or monthly lenses?
We only sell daily lenses at Waldo. We prioritise your eye health and daily lenses are the most hygienic contact lenses to wear.
Do you sell colored lenses?
We don’t currently offer colored lenses, sorry!
Do you sell multifocal lenses?
We don’t currently offer multifocal lenses, however we’re working hard on these! If you would like to be notified once we add multifocals to our range, please complete this form.
Do you sell toric lenses for people with astigmatism?
We don’t offer toric lenses for those with astigmatism just yet, however we’re working hard on these! If you would like to be notified as soon as we offer toric lenses, please complete this form.
Do your lenses have UV filters?
Yes! Waldo lenses help protect you against the transmission of harmful UV radiation to the cornea and into your eye by blocking 70% UVA and 95% UVB rays. However, you should never treat your lenses as a substitute for UV absorbing eyewear like sunglasses, which provide full coverage for your eyes and surrounding areas.
How many lenses are in a box?
A box of lenses contains 30 lenses, enough for 30 days for that eye. Our subscription plans come in Monthly, Quarterly and Bi-annual options, which contain 2, 6 and 12 boxes respectively, or 60, 180 or 360 lenses. If you only require lenses for one eye, the plans will contain 1, 3 or 6 boxes.
What are your lenses made of?
Our lenses are made of 42% etafilcon A and 58% water. Waldo lenses are made of hydrogel which has a higher water content and means many people find them to be a soft lens in comparison to other materials.
What is the base curve and diameter of your lenses?
Our base curve is 8.5mm and our diameter is 14.2mm.
Where are your lenses made?
Our lenses are manufactured by Pegavision, based in Taiwan.
Which power ranges do you offer?
We’re proud to say that we cover a wide spectrum of powers, from -12.00 to +4.00.
Why only a single base curve and diameter?
Waldo lenses have a base curve of 8.5mm and a diameter of 14.2mm, which is suitable for many contact lens wearers. As we grow, we will continue to expand our range further.
Are contacts difficult to insert and remove?
We appreciate that inserting and removing new lenses may take a little practice, so each shipping package includes a guide detailing how to insert/remove them correctly and confidently. If you’re struggling and would like advice on this, email our in-house optician on firstname.lastname@example.org and she’ll get in touch to talk you through it.
Can I swim with my contact lenses in?
We advise you not to swim whilst wearing your contact lenses. Water contains bacteria that has the potential to contaminate your lenses and cause infection. If you do swim while wearing contact lenses, we recommend you either wear goggles or remove your lenses as soon as possible afterwards. This will reduce the risk of infection.
Can I wear contact lenses when playing sports?
Absolutely. Contact lenses are a fantastic option for people who enjoy playing sports. Forget steamy glasses and broken frames, Waldo lenses will stick with you until the final whistle!
Can I wear my contacts in the shower or bath, or in a sauna or steam room?
We recommend removing your lenses before taking a shower, getting in the bathtub or entering a sauna or steam room. Tap water and sweat contain bacteria so they should never come into contact with your lenses, while soaps and other chemicals in your shower products can cause irritation to your eyes.
How do I dispose of my contacts after use?
Caring for our eyes shouldn't mean we stop caring for the environment, which is why we have partnered with Terracycle - a highly-awarded, international upcycling and recycling company that collects difficult-to-recycle packaging and products. You can learn more about our Terracycle partnership here and start recycling your lens packaging right away!

How long can I wear my lenses?
We sell daily contact lenses, which are meant for daily or one-time use. The exact length of time lenses can be worn varies from person-to-person, so your doctor will be able to discuss the appropriate duration for you as an individual. For many people, lenses can be worn up to 14 to 16 hours but if you are experiencing any dryness or discomfort at any point in the day, you should remove your lenses immediately.
Will it hurt when I put the contact lens on my eye for the first time?
Some wearers might feel uncomfortable inserting contact lenses for the first time, however most people are surprised with the level of comfort that they can provide. Initial fittings by professional eye care specialists should eliminate any problems associated with new lenses. If this is your first time wearing daily contacts, we ask that you visit your local optician to obtain an up-to-date prescription before ordering from us.
How long will it take for my trial order to arrive?
Once you’ve placed your order, your lens prescription needs to be verified by your prescriber. This should take approximately 24 hours (from order to shipment) unless you have placed your order on a Friday or Saturday, as in these cases we will need to wait until Monday to contact your doctor and verify your prescription. Once verified, your lenses should be delivered to your door within 2-3 business days unless you are located outside of the continental U.S., in which case your order may take a bit longer to arrive. Of course, if there are any hiccups along the way regarding your prescription verification, we’ll be sure to contact you immediately.
What is the cost of shipping for each delivery?
We only charge a $2.95 delivery fee for your 10-day trial. Each subsequent shipment will be free of charge.
Where do you ship to?
We currently ship to the US, Puerto Rico, Guam, the US Virgin Islands, and military APO/DPO/FPO addresses. We also ship to the EU, UK and Sweden. Please select your location in the upper corner of our homepage if you are outside of the US.
Do you accept Vision Care insurance as payment?
Unfortunately, we don’t deal with insurance providers directly (which is common for online contact lens retailers) but you can access a receipt for any orders you place with us in your Club Waldo account, under My Orders. You can use this when applying for reimbursement from your provider.
How do I change my billing information from PayPal to my debit/credit card?
While we do not currently offer this functionality, we are working hard to bring it to you very soon. Please reach out to us on email@example.com if you need further support.
How do I get a receipt for my insurance provider?
We display receipts for all orders in the Order History section of your Club Waldo account.
How much do the lenses cost?
We offer three plan options, each with a different price. Our monthly plan gives you a 2 boxes of lenses for $19.50 a box, our quarterly plan offers 6 boxes for $18 per box, and our bi-annual plan is 12 boxes for $17 per box.
May I use my Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA) to pay for my lenses?
Of course! So long as your FSA or HSA card is affiliated with a major credit card, you can use this to pay for your Waldo lenses.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept PayPal, debit and credit cards for payment, including Visa, Mastercard, AMEX and more. We also accept FSA or HSA payments.

How do I change my address?
